If you're like me everything is in your closet. With no dresser, storage and very little space, you are left to get creative to keep all your garments organized. I am going to share with you 4 tips for getting everything ready this season.
Bins are your friend. An easy way to keep items organized is with bins or totes. Items to have in bins are: Socks, underwear, bras, gym clothes and comfy clothes. I purchased all of my bins from Winners but I found some super cute ones on amazon linked here.
2. Pant hangers. If you don't know what they are get to the organizing section in your local store and source them out. You can hang 4 pair of pants on each hanger. They are perfect for keeping your pants wrinkle free and not having stacks of pants in your closet that are falling over like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Again I found mine and Winners but I linked some here from amazon.

3. Step 3 is the most important for keeping your small closet organized. Remove all your summer items. Shoes, clothes, purses. You do not need those items cluttering up your closet. Take them all and put them in a storage bin. That way you won't have to fight through those tightly squeezed hangers looking for your winter wear.
4. Color code your items, I know this sounds daunting and over the top but stick with me. When your in a rush and you have an idea for an outfit, you do not want to be rummaging through your closet looking for that perfect black cozy sweater. When items are colour coded you know exactly where to look! Bonus you won't miss school pickup. wink wink!
Lastly having an organized closet will save you money. Say what? Yes! I myself found before my closet was all prepared for the winter season I thought I needed a ton of new sweaters. After getting everything organized I realize I have an overload of sweater and that isn't something I need to spend more money on. Being organized=saving money. Enjoy! xo
